Boring and Awkward

Im a fan of challenging games. I prefer playing games with the difficulty level set to high. Theres nothing worse than buying a game that you can beat in a couple hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

That being said...I want the challenge to be in the game, not in the controls. Clash of the Olympians offers real promise but delivers very little in terms of engaging game play. Its a side shooter requiring pinpoint accuracy of arced weaponry. Strategy plays no real role except in terms of picking upgrades. It jumps between levels of difficulty in mind-boggling fashion, progressing from one fairly easy level to an insanely and frustratingly difficult level.

Ive come to expect more from Ironhide Studios. Im giving Clash of the Olympians one star not only because the game itself is forgettable but also because its producers are capable of so much better.
